Tunetape Pipe Chanter Tape

Tunetape is an aggressive pressure sensitive tape for fine tuning notes on the pipe chanter. It’s purpose made for the bagpipe chanter and offers superior resistance to heat, moisture, humidity and cold. It’s designed for tuning notes on a pipe chanter, so each note can be perfectly tuned to the drones. Each Tunetape roll is 5 metres long and 11mm wide, very thin and hardly felt on the chanter, clear so it’s unnoticed on all chanter colours and can be reapplied many times. It leaves minimal residue and won’t damage your pipe chanter or clog the holes. Tunetape is strong, flexible and movements to the smallest millimeter are possible. If you add pressure when reapplying, this increases Tunetape’s aggressive hold and resistance to movement is strong. Risk of any tape slippage is minimal. Tunetape offers more flexibility when tuning. Taping a chanter is a practical method in creating a truly accurate scale, not one that is just close enough.
