Our terms and conditions describe how we handle the sale and return of goods purchased from this website. We encourage you to review and agree to them prior to purchasing from us. By completing a purchase from us, you signify your acceptance to be bound by these terms and conditions and our privacy policy, which you should also review and agree to.

1. The Buyer

1.1 You are the buyer. Any reference herein to ‘you’ , ‘your’ or ‘yours’ means you as the buyer.

2. The Seller

2.1 Scott Currie Music is a trading name of Scott Currie Ltd.

2.2 Your purchase is from Scott Currie Ltd. Any reference to ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ or ‘ours’ means Scott Currie Ltd as the seller.

2.3 Scott Currie Ltd is an incorporated private limited company registered in Scotland under Companies House registration number SC360469.

2.4 Scott Currie Ltd is registered for Value Added Tax (VAT) with Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) in the United Kingdom (UK) under registration number GB172664493.

2.5 Scott Currie Ltd is a PayPal® verified company.

3. Products

3.1 Products supplied by us should be as described, fit for purpose and of merchantable quality.

3.2 All products are new unless stated otherwise.

3.3 DVD products listed as ‘PAL Version’ are encoded only for viewing on equipment programmed to accept the PAL format.

3.4 DVD products listed as ‘NTSC Version’ are encoded only for viewing on North American equipment or equipment programmed to accept the NTSC format.

3.5 All other DVD and CD ROM products are universally suitable unless stated otherwise.

4. Stock

4.1 Products listed as ‘In Stock’ are in stock with us or with our suppliers.

4.2 Out of stock items will be replaced as soon as possible and withdrawn from sale in the interim.

5. Ownership

5.1 All products shall remain the property of Scott Currie Ltd until full payment has been received from you.

5.2 We reserve the right to require the return of products undamaged when payment terms accepted by you have not been complied with.

6. Online Purchases

6.1 All online purchases from us are handled securely online by PayPal®.

6.2 Your online purchase is subject to PayPal® terms and conditions. Please make yourself aware of how PayPal® operates prior to completing your purchase.

6.3 Upon completion of your online purchase, PayPal® will electronically supply us with your payment and shipping details.

6.4 PayPal® accepts multiple currencies. Our currency of choice by default is Sterling (GBP). Payments made to PayPal® other than in GBP are subject to PayPal® currency conversions at the appropriate exchange rate.

6.5 Credit and debit card payments will be listed on your statement under the reference ‘SCOTTCURRIE’ or ‘SCOTTCURRIELTD’.

7. Offline Purchases

7.1 We reserve the right to require full payment from you before releasing products for delivery.

7.2 We accept payment for offline purchases by bank transfer (details available on request), cash, cheque or credit and debit card.

7.3 Credit and debit card payments will be listed on your statement under the reference ‘SCOTTCURRIE’ or ‘SCOTTCURRIELTD’.

7.4 We reserve the right to require deposits for offline purchases.

7.5 Deposits levied and payment terms granted are dependent on your previous payment and purchase history, quantity and value of items ordered.

7.6 We will apply a reasonable handling charge for offline purchases made by credit and debit card at our discretion.

7.7 Payment terms granted for offline purchases are non-negotiable and strictly enforced.

7.8 Payment terms accepted by you which are not complied with may result in legal recovery action.

8. Digital Downloads

8.1 eBooks are available in PDF format and are intended for use with PC, Mac and compatible portable handheld devices. Where relevant, MP3 files accompany eBook content.

8.2 eBook downloads are handled by Payloadz.

8.3 eBook downloads are offered by us as an affiliate on behalf of the author ‘Laughlins Limited’.

8.4 Upon completion of your eBook purchase, Payloadz will electronically supply you with individual notifications of sale, download link and invoice ID.

8.5 Unauthorised distribution, file sharing, public broadcast, replication or online uploading are strictly prohibited and will be viewed as infringement of copyright and pursued accordingly.

8.6 Podcast files are available in the M4V format intended for use with iPod, iPod Touch & iPhone.

8.7 All Podcast downloads are handled by E-junkie.

8.8 Upon completion of your purchase, E-junkie will electronically supply you with individual notifications of sale, download link and invoice ID.

8.9 Your purchase allows you with five attempts download the file within five days from date of purchase. Failure to successfully complete the download of your purchased file will result in expiry of the download link.

8.10 Unauthorised distribution, file sharing, public broadcast, replication or online uploading are strictly prohibited and will be viewed as infringement of copyright and pursued accordingly.

9. Postage & Packaging

9.1 Postage and packaging is calculated prior to completing your purchase upon proceeding to the secure checkout.

9.2 Purchases will be released for delivery as soon as reasonably practicable within 28 days of receipt of your order according to the status and location of our stock.

9.3 We shall endeavour to update you with the delivery status and tracking number of your purchase via PayPal®.

9.4 The choice of carrier of your purchase will be determined at our discretion.

9.5 Digital downloads are not subject to postage and packaging.

10. VAT, Import Duty & Customs Charges

10.1 All UK online and offline purchases are subject to VAT at the standard rate of 20%. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT.

10.2 All non-UK online and offline purchases will be calculated excluding VAT and may be subject to VAT, import duty and handling charges at the country of destination. We do not accept any responsibility for any such VAT, import duty or handling charges imposed.

11. Returns & Refunds

11.1 Adequate steps should be taken by you prior to completion of your purchase to ensure that the product(s) selected and quantities thereof are accurate and appropriate for your intended use.

11.2 Products returned for consideration of replacement or refund other than by reason of fault should be intact and unopened wherever possible. We will not provide a replacement or refund for products which have been intentionally unsealed, degenerated or destroyed by you or are not returned in a re-sellable condition.

11.3 A refund will be offered for any product(s) received by you in a defective or destroyed condition or any item delivered in error by us.

11.4 The responsibility for the quantity of product(s) purchased and the suitability of use lies with you. The costs involved in returning surplus or incompatible product(s) for consideration of refund or replacement are your responsibility.

11.5 Refunds will be offered for any purchase that cannot be fulfilled due to the product(s) becoming unavailable or the desired quantity of the product being unavailable. In such cases, we will contact you by email to arrange a refund or an ‘on-hold’ order.

11.6 Refunds for online and offline purchases will be processed by our choice of either bank transfer, cash, cheque or PayPal®.

11.7 Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.
